C-Load – a sustainable way forward

22 April 2024

Over the last six months, Triona’s product C-Load has been updated with several sought-after features. We are probably most excited about the steps we have taken to promote sustainability. During the previous autumn we have implemented an integration to Fair Transport to help our transport ordering clients to make a conscious choice.

To support our clients in making more sustainable supplier choices we have chosen to integrate C-Load to Fair Transport. Information on which suppliers are Fair Transport certified is fetched automatically. This information is then used as a quality points parameter which is used to rank suppliers, as well as displaying the Fair Transport icon on a supplier level. Information about how many transports and kilometres Fair Transport suppliers have carried out can be viewed in C-Load’s reports. We look forward to adding further functionality in the future to give our clients a good basis for making sustainable decisions but also to support them with the information which is needed in the future for monitoring of sustainability goals such as carbon footprint etc.

We have also added functionality in C-Load to attach a document to a load (a transport) both for clients and suppliers. This increases the possibility to give supplementary information about the transport and maps of the loading and unloading areas.

To improve the digital flow, suppliers can now add a registration number for a particular transport. This can for example make access to loading and unloading areas easier. Transports which require a border crossing out of the EU can now be marked with a requirement to complete customs information. This can then (like most of the information in C-Load) be updated via integration to other external systems.

Apart from the above, C-Load is being continuously improved to make it a best-in-class service for transport procurement and transport bookings. Both the technology and functionality have been modernized to ensure a secure digitalization of the transport flow.
